Hi, I saw this little 150mW guy on fleabay, and I am curious if anybody knows anything about it. The rechargable feature seems like it would be a unique and nice feature. Does anyone know of any reviews or output tests? Does somebody need to send one to the LED museum for testing? Can Craig test above 50mW yet?

There is a very encourageing thing about this other 50mW laser from the same seller I noticed. If you look at the laser apature picture, you can see that pinky colored cover that is not a lens. I would have to say pinky colored flat things on the last stage of a laser are very likely IR filters (unless anybody else has any ideas what they would be?). This is a good sign for China laser improvement if it really is an IR filter.

Nice. Problem with it being rechargeable is your battery options are limited. YOur not likely to get maximum performance with the batteries it has.

IR filters for green DPSS lasers tend to be a transparent, slightly but noticably greenish-blue in color, not pink.
And no, I do not have the equipment necessary to test much above 50mW. :shakehead:

luvlasers- I was kinda guessing it would use a rechargable lithium cell like a 18650 or something inside there. I dont think that 3.7v cell would be limiting potential output of any IR diodes that I am familiar with.

If IR filters are generally clear, does anybody have any idea what that pink chunk peaking out the apature of that laser is?
