I was told that there's a new driver in the works, not limited by the need to reverse-bias an Osram Dragon to drive the static-control diode, and this will allow them to push currents like you see in the high-end Clicky. Don't think I was sworn to secrecy or anything, just discussing an LED swap.

Are you talking Twisty here?

Bit the bullet and ordered a 200 lumen clicky :paypal: Can't wait to see how that performs :twothumbs

The warm white will have to wait. Henry has still not replied if the warm white goes higher than 100 lumens. I might have a 170Cn or a 140CEgt for sale soon! Then again, maybe not. Just ordered the black duplex sheath from Spec ops for the other 2 clickies :nana:

The T or tactical models currently use the Osram Golden Dragon plus emitter
which has a slightly tighter hot spot and thus a little further throw than the SSC P4's.

Thanks matrix. I like that emitter, I'm going to have to start looking for it!

Grats on that order! Many will be eagerly awaiting your first post about it.

The new 200cn, I assume it is 200 lumen burst, but does it default back to 170 lumens or 140 lumens?

Has anyone shown beam shots of the Ra 170 clicky? or 140?

so we have:
140CN and 140CGT outdoors

Whitewall shots of 140CN, 100-WWCN, and 140CGT

And the only shots I took of 140CN vs. 170CN.:ohgeez:

Both on burst..Camera with fixed settings.

The difference between output levels is square root of 2 so it should be 140 lumens.

So, will it have an extra level? 24?

ETA: I just got a response from Henry. I got the last 200 available right now. I'm guessing there will be more in the future.

I'm not in a hurry to spend $300 on another Clicky. However, this would be the same as paying MSR for a Surefire U2A. So, I don't think Henry's asking crazy prices for his lights, which start at $100.

Listen people - EVERYBODY!

I just wrote Henry an email about the actual locator flash issue - which was already mentioned in this and another Ra Clicky thread. (issue: locatorflash is active; you are not able to turn the Clicky on with a single click while your locatorflash is emitting light...)
He told me that NOBODY had reported that issue to him - and because of all YOU, it is ME who got a faulty flashlight back from Henry... You can imagine I feel quite sick, because shipping costs are high and I don't want to pay another 40$ AGAIN...
So PLEASE report EVERY ISSUE (!!!) you can find - and write Henry an email or call him instantly!

EDIT: The locator flash issue is now fixed!

Now back to topic:
It's nice to see that Henry is able to find more and more high efficiency emitters. I can only imagine how a 200Cn Clicky will blow up a whole street. Nevertheless, I would like to see some high lumens wider beam pattern lights. Henry told me they already ordered some of these emitters, but they didn't receive any yet. Maybe in the near future.

And: weren't there rumours about a natural anodizing for the Clickys? I would like to see this!!! Anyone with infos!?

I was aware of the locator flash issue (light will not turn on if button is pressed during flash event) simply by reading the threads around here, but never thought to mention it to Henry. In fact I just got back a light from him that exhibits this behavior. But all of my Clicky's do this.

I do hope Henry fixes this, but there is no way I am sending any of my lights back to him just for this issue. I guess it's just not that big of deal to me.
