New Raider bezel ???

I had a poster in another thread make a comment that they had a newer Raider with a retaining ring in the bezel that allowed the user to replace the lens....searched all night and found nothing to verify this and I sent an e-mail to Wolf-Eyes however have not yet received a reply.

I have broken several lenses in my Raider and each time had to replace the entire bezel assembly as the one I have is a sealed fit......can anyone here verify if they have a newer Raider that does have a replaceable lens only???

Wolf-Eyes website shows no part number listed for a lens only.

Hi Robocop,
For quite a while the heads I have been getting seem to have the ability to remove the lens. Unscrew bezel and look inside and you will see a ring with two slots on opposings sides. Insert a piece of steel a bit over an inch wide and unscrew. I have included an image of the slot on one side, there is another 180 degrees opposite. Good luck

another thought, stick a Defender bezel on yor Raider for added protection if you have bad luck with lens

Glen, can you buy the defender bezel on its own?

Robocop's Raider is the 9D, using the D36.
Glen, is there an o-ring between the lens/bezel, or lens/retaining ring on that bezel you posted a pic of?

Cernobila, yes you can buy the Defender bezel by itself.

Owen, sorry didn't know it was a D model. There seems to be a small O ring under the lens, I have only loosened the lens as we haven't broken any yet.

I have looked very closely and see no way to remove the lens on the D36 bezel......anyone know of a Surefire bezel or something else that will fit the Raider threads. I have long been tempted to buy the M90 bezel however do not know if it will fit the Raider.

I have Raider 9DX and if I unscrew the top of the bezel the lens will just push out.
