New Surefire Hybrid with 12 LEDs?!

This looks really cool, but besides this photo in both new Surefire catalogs, in the section discussing the different light sources, I couldn't find it. Is it an actual flashlight?

Could well be a prototype of some kind of incandescent Kroma.
The LED's look to be different coloured in the same kind of pattern as in the kroma.

Doesn't look like the beast has any LEDs. r0b0r might be right about it being a prototype. I'd call it more like a tease...

that is a beast 2. hid main beam, 12 5mm leds secondary beam.

mossy got it, it's SF HID LED hybrid light, fits right in with the kroma and A2, high powered light with some periphial LED's.

I guess photorob was right. I just didn't see the LEDs in the photo. Definitely looks cool, but not something I can afford to buy.

That is the BeastII as shown in the 2007 catalogs. You can have either white or UV LEDs (UV for Boarder Control etc)
