I have been lurking here for sometime. I have read most of the TOI's and

the welcome mat and the P60 host list. I have a 6p with an older kl3 w/the

fins and a e2d.

What is needed to use the p60 drop-ins on the e2? From what I could find

I need an adapter. What are my options?

Thanks

For a P60 dropin, I would buy a C2 or C3 Centurion. This way, everything fits like it should, no need for adapters.
Go for the C2 if you like the compactness of it, and runtime is less important (it uses two (R)CR123s).
Go for the C3 if you can live with the extra length, use two 17500s in it and you'll be rewarded with a doubling of the runtime.

Timmo.

The E2 won't accept P60 type drop-ins unless you get an adaptor and a P60 accepting head like a 6P, C2 and so on. There is at least one swappable head for the E series and you can also buy the newer KX2 heads from Surefire. You can also send the light to a modder and have them do their stuff.

:welcome:

What you are looking for is an E2C adaptor. DSpeck used to make them, and Leef might make them. I don't know who else has made them but Surefire has never. Lighthound.com is probably one of your best bets for an E2C... if anyone still makes them.

If you can't get hold of an adaptor to fit your 6P bezel on, you could purchase a TLS head from Opticshq for your E2D.

As mentioned above, to use a P60 dropin with an E series body you need a P60 bezel and a E2C adapter.

The E2C adapter is available from TnCproducts ... they are in stock NOW
The P60 bezel .... try CPFMarketplace or just get a cheap Chinese copy, try the Solarforce L2 range. For a complete light, they go for under $30
