Hi,

New to flashlights so i don't know much about them other than what i have read recently, pinpointing a flashlight for my price range and needs is hard due to so many to chose from.

Budget: £20GBP around $30-35USD or €20-25EUROS

Budget is low i know but i don't really need anything too fancy or high tech as of yet due to not driving until a few months from now, just need to see what i am doing in dark and what i am walking into when the flood lights are not turned on.

Small and durable is a must maybe something i can carry on my person at all times until i can store a larger flashlight in the boot of a car, brightness is a key here as it is very dark but sometimes i guard people working on the railroads and i wouldn't want anything to powerful that was going to stun them from a far distance by accident although i doubt anything in my price range would pack that much of a punch.

Please refrain from turning this into a flashlight debate or argument, thanks in advanced!

I was looking at breaking budget and going for a Fenix LD20 Cree XP-G R5 180 Lumens but would like some feedback from the pros before i go buying anything.

I do security work and use a Fenix LD20 most of the time. I use an old Q5, and it's plenty good enough.

For EU Fenix is easily available... not sure what else is so sticking with Fenix...

You can save money and go with an E25.

The Fenx E21 is also nice - if you can still find them, it runs on two AA batteries. Two modes: low and high.

From what you're describing, the "low" mode which runs for hours is more than sufficient.
