Thanks again guys for your continued suggestions...
At the moment (yeah, yeah, I know :laughing:) my short list is — in NO particular order:
I'm thinking that those 3 will probably give me enough breadth of choice, considering the dozens of brands and configurations that're out there.
I'm also starting to suffer "buyer panic" whereby I'm starting to look wider and wider afield, and at more and more brands. I think that the more you look, the more confused you can get sometimes?
So... I'll be reading all I can about those four babies here (thank you again CPF reviewers!) and then let you know how I'm going. And if you read my sig, you'll understand the problem I face hehe.

EDIT: Have deleted UltraFire from list. Too difficult to source in Australia. No local retailers (bricks 'n' mortar stores). Too many counterfeits coming in from China via eBay. Reviews generally not enthusiastic about this brand.
