I recieved my d10 today. Man this thing is little, i love the way it works. I already knew how to use it in everyway from watching 4sevens video. The light seems to be of a very good quality. My button is not to hard to push, and my led does not emit any sound no matter what level i have it set. I am using brand new energizer nimh rechargables.

The only thing that i might say, that is not positive is overal brightness, its not bad at all, it just doesnt seem like 130 lumens. "mine is the golden dragon" I had an l2d q5, and i dont think this is as bright as it was on high , not turbo,, high. The only thing i have to compare it to is an old rayovac 1Watt led. and it is definitely brighter than that,

I did order the slotted piston and a blue trit , so i have a very cool little light. If I were ordering again i think i would go with the cree, Most are saying that it is a little brighter. I know some speak of "cree rings" but i think more output would be worth it. With that said this thing does have a great beam, I bought it mostly to put in my pocket and use around the house. I will be looking for alot of lumens next.

Been reading a lot of reviews like this one, complaining that the Golden dragon Nitecores are not bright enough. I wonder if the sample variation is rather large because self built's numbers for the GD+ D10 and EX10 were pretty close to the Q5 versions.

Just did a ceiling bounce test comparing my Nitecore EX10GD with my Jetbeam Jet II IBS, and my EagleTac T10C. I used the same battery in each light and ran through the test twice.
EX10GD on high= 4.7 Lux @ 1.04A battery current.
Jet II IBS on high= 8.1 Lux @ 1.28A battery current.
EagleTac T10C on low= 2.9 Lux @ 180mA battery current.
EagleTac T10C on high= 12 Lux @ 1.8A battery current.

My EX10GD gets stomped by the Jet and the EagleTac, but it doesn't bother me at all becouse my EX10GD is mostly used indoors at low power anyway.
When I go walking at night, I'll be carrying the EagleTac:D

There are numerous other threads about this light, including some very detailed reviews. You may post in one of those, and I'll close this one.
