Guys I was wondering if I can charge 3 NiMh D batteries in series, shrink wrapped together? I was thinking of using this Tenergy TB6 Balancing Charger for NiMH/NiCD/Li-PO/Li-Fe/SLA.

You can. Just be aware the the balancing feature does not work with NiCd/NiMH "batteries". Balancing can only be accomplished with the various Li-Ion chemistries.

If the cells are well matched, it shouldn't really be a problem. Nickel based cells are charged all the time in series, but that's the key, well matched and always used in the same set.

If you just shrink wrap the batteries together without making any other arrangements you may find they make poor electrical contact. Unless the batteries are to be compressed end to end while being charged and while being used it would be best to join the cells electrically with a tab weld, or even solder if you know how to do it without causing damage.
