Ok, I'm struggling with this levitation claim

Levitation is nothing new, been around 50+ years. In iraq 25+ of us saw a VLC doing recon for a few seconds...then it just went POOF and was gone.

Years later I was at a small base just outside Barrows Alaska and saw another.I spoke with a tech for a few mins.He knew alot about gravity waves and how to distort it.I wish I was able to learn more.

There is MUCH info on this subject..books and the I-net.Just poke around.
This should wet your whistle.

Keep in mind often we do not hear about the really good military stuff . Often we find out about it 20-100 years later.U2 is a great example.

One of yall wont believe..this is fine. We learned about ALL the stealth crafts quite fast..why? Because we had perfected somthing much better.

I overheard the release date for VLCs will be DEC. 21 2012 :green:
Your kids WILL see flying saucers all over.

a few years ago, FOX showed what they billed as "if you are only going to watch one UFO show in your lifetime, this one should be it". it was the "mother of all UFO shows" based on their hype.

as i never saw a UFO show before, i decided to tune in.

same stuff as i've read in print. didn't need to waste an hour tuning in, until....

...the grand finale...

actual video footage shot in florida and "expertly" analyzed by a gentlemen of impeccable credentials (but questionable true scientific knowledge or ethics - don't know which, or both, applies here).

this video footage showed this disk/saucer shaped craft darting about, hovering, seemingly instantly changing direction, accelerating to amazing speeds, etc.

as soon as i saw it i was on the edge of my chair with my gaze riveted on the
boob-tube.

the narrator went on about how this craft (which he felt was ~200' in diameter) was NOT OF THIS WORLD and violated the laws of physics.

as i listened to the "expert" narration, i was holding my sides with laughter.

Why?

i work in R&D as an engineer for a large corporation with Gov't contracts and worked briefly on a very special project at that time to work out a problem that they were having.

see, our "secret" craft which was on a test flight (which i was not part of, but knew about when and where it was occurring) was video-taped by some guy who probably shouldn't have been in the area - and it was NO WHERE near 200' in diameter as the "expert" determined from his analysis of the video footage [i sure feel sorry for those whose legal trials in which he was called in as an expert witness!!]

Are we really looking at hoverboards soon or is this a bunch of smoke and mirrors?

I'd want to see more hard data on it before I dismissed or accepted it. But as evan9162 had mentioned in his post, the Casimir effect is generally only observed at distances measured in angstroms ( or is it nonometers ? ). Now, that doesn't mean what's been discovered ( and published ) is the end all be all regarding the Casimir effect and how to manipulate it - just that the 'current' subset of knowledge regarding it hasn't mentioned the ability to produce effects like the one seen in the picture. At the same time, I've had some ideas for a Casimir engine that takes advantage of the force in ways that most people wouldn't have thought of...but that's how discovery generally works. Someone 'sees' something that the rest of the pack doesn't; they persue it ( and get ridiculed in the process ), and if their idea is able to bear up under both scientific scrutiny ( and very unscientific myopic persecution ), it may one day make it into the mainstream and become 'generally accepted'.

Interesting stuff indeed though. I only wish they had something more to substantiate the claim other than a nifty picture that anyone could make in PS ( like some mathematical proofs & successful duplication by others in their peer group ).

Thanks for sharing though. :)

John Hutchinson - Canadian scientist - has levitated things. I've got a video that shows a number of things he was levitating including a bowling ball. Interesting guy who does not follow the mainstream science. There's lots of Internet articles on his work and I'm sure you'll find a lot of people trying to debunk his work.

I have read 10 books about John H.Lots of great info on him on Youtube.

"We mock what we dont understand" -John Hutchinson

**Matrixshamen..My woman said "Post more tiny bunny pictures, they are soooooooooo cute"

And
