Looks good. I like how they dropped the "attack scalloping/meat tenderizer" on the tailcap, makes for a much easier light to holster and deploy. I might have missed it, but I wonder how hard the SST is being driven? This light powered by 2x18650s is going to be a beast. Selfbuilt should have fun with this one.

I can't see any reason why 2 18500s would not work although they aren't specifically advertised for use.
However they work fine in the M30 and the JB M1X and they weren't advertised for use there either.
Basically anywhere 2 18650s would work, 2 18500s should too.
