Hello my fellow FLASHAHOLICS. This is my first Thread.

I am looking to buy either the Olight SR90 22 Lumen or the Microfire Warrior III 3500 Lumen light. I need some help in this purchase. I know that they are two completly different kind of lights but I believe that these are the only two out there that have a great reputatiopn and build.

If anyone has any suggestions to yell oout, I am all ears.

Yeah, the SR90 is a monster! In that Youtube video that someone posted in another thread, I couldn't help comparing it to the size of the user's head in the video. :D Now that I can see it next to a TK40 in that photo and I happen to have my TK40 sitting right here next to my keyboard as I type this, HOLY MOLY is that SR90 absolutely ENORMOUS!

It has the price to match its huge size too.

I can't wait to see a shoot out between the new biggest 4Sevens Malestrom light and the Olight SR90.

Yell in the price of the Olight just went up another 50.00

Thanks for all of your input. I guess when you get to a certain point with your love affair of lumens, i start to look for the next baddest thing. I have the Fenix TK40 and LOVE IT but i just want MORE.:twothumbs
I am worried that if I buy an HID instead of the LED I will pay more inthe long run by replacing the lamp (if it goes bad) and the battery as well. I hope one of you out there can give me a good beam shot of both.

If you guys have soemthing that you like this in the same LUMEN range PLEASE SHARE....

THANK YOU

Look up a member called Nailbender, ask him if he can build you a custom light. He could give you more then enough lumens.

I have both lights & they are very different - suddenly my Warrior looks small.. Both will light up the other side of a field but the SR90 does it immediately & is brighter with more throw. I would say, although it's a big flashlight, the front & rear mounted shoulder strap makes the SR90 much easier to carry than even a small handheld unit.

If you are still torn between the two, go for the Olight!

Thanks for all of the info. I think i am going to order the Olight as soon as it gets back in stock.

Thanks everyone for the help.lovecpf

goinggear.com, coupon code ggcpf10, $359.10!!!!!!!

We need some beam shots from those 4 lights!!!!!!!! I just sold my Boxer to pay for my SR90. I wanted something that was instant absurd:twothumbs

As a Warrior and Boxer owner I must point out that they're the two smallest lights in their respective classes. One is the smallest 24W, the other the smallest 35W. Both are great lights but suffer from slow warm-up time, 55 minute run-time and very blue color temperature. Yes, the SR90 is large but now you've entered in the "Searchlight" class of handheld's, something no other LED light on the market can do what it can do.

I don't own an SR90, but I have to respect it for it's capabilities...this coming from and HID junkie. Who knows, I might own one eventually. ;)

SR90 is a BEAST to say the least. I wish it would come with sling swivels. I think I might get one for my birthday, even if I have to purchase it myself. lol:party:

LED better than HID?!
It is the begginning of the end. The LEDs will take the land of the flahslights! :mecry:

I dont want lose my incans and we will fight to the end but.... if Surefire launch a M6-Led, maybe it'll be too late. :(

I think i am going to order the Olight as soon as it gets back in stock.

And just when might that be? I have ordered an intimidator from tacticalleds.com. The order was placed in the fourth of march, and i have still not recieved any info on when it will be shipped.
I have contacted Mr. John Moyer from tacticalleds.com for some info, but he does not know either.
Now don´t get me wrong, i am very pleased with his quick and polite responses, but there simply seems to be a shortage of information on this light.

Thankful for any help.

As soon as i get my SR90 i plan on doing some sweet beam shot photos for all of you guys that love beam porn.

Talk to you guys soon...

How about some pictures with lights on guns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
