Can someone tell me what the actual lumen output of the Olight t20 is. I've search the forum but I can't see any info about that. I'm wondering if it really does do the 205 lums out the front as advertise.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mine in high mode is the dimmest of all my 2 X CR123 flashlights. Anecdotal but for whatever it's worth.

I don't think I've ever seen an actual out-the-front rating of any of the T20s (such as done in an integration sphere). I have a T20 T, and based on a couple of other lights, and the conventional wisdom of discounting emitter lumens when figuring torch lumens, I'd guess, and it's a guess mind you, that the T20 is about 150-160 lumens out the front. It IS bright, but part of that impression is created, I think by the very tight hotspot the T20 reflector produces.

so technically the LX2 would be about brighter by 40 lums... not a very big difference

Not in total output, but if the LX2 uses a TIR optic, it will be an even more concentrated spot than the T20, and will seem a good deal brighter.

Again, though, just a guess. I'm still waiting on my first TIR optic equipped light.
