Online titanium suppliers?

I'm looking for some slightly over-sized 1" 6AL4V round bar stock. By over-sized I mean between 1.025-1.060" or there about. When you're final diameter is 1" then 1" stock don't cut it. Ti Joe lists that size but I've talked to him and he does not have it in stock not to mention he is a bit pricey.

So does anyone know of where I might find some?

Ti Joe isn't that expensive, imo. Just a bit more than you would pay from a local Ti distrbutor.

McMaster Carr has 1.25" grade 5 in 6' length for $705.
Ti Joe's price: $604

Go to ThomasNet, or GlobalSpec and you can search for Ti distributors in Florida.

Locally, I use President Titanium. A couple of months ago I bought a 1" x 6' bar it cost me $305, delivered. Prices may have gone up since then though.

I usually get my stuff from Joe. He's just out of the size I'm looking for. I really don't want to turn down 1.25" to 1" if I don't have to. That would not only be a pain in the you know what it would also be a waste of time and money.

You can also just buy some centerless ground stock and be done with it. :devil:

Most likely the distributor will have the size you are looking for--it doesn't hurt to ask.
