If you were forced to reduce your collection of lights that you actually use on a regular or semi-regular basis, which 5 would you keep if that was the limit. And, why?

Complete lights only, and those that you've modded into complete lights also count.

Torchlab Boss 70 (Moff/519a/3000k)
HDS Rotary (SDR50 HiCRI 300lm}
Malkoff MDC 14500 (519a DD)
Malkoff E2XT 16650 (a recent favorite and way more useful than I realized it would be. Incredibly handy)

#5 is a bit of a toss up. Gun to my head, probably Malkoff Wildcat V6/MD3, even though it kinda fills the same niche as the BOSS, being a wide-area, high lumen flooder (and less versatile tbh). I do love it so, though.
Maybe a ZL headlamp? Just to have a headlamp in the mix.

sc64c LE (mod: 519a 3500K dedomed) – EDC (warmer, rosy)
sc64w HI (mod: higher cri) – alt EDC (cooler, neutral, higher output)
h600w mk4 – everyday headlamp for task lighting or outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, etc)
sc700d – nightstand light
BLF LT1 – lantern (used 2–3x/year)

i only have 6 lights, so that was easy.

Md1.5, 2, 3 & 4 with one Hound Dog or super. The others m91bn group buy and M61WLL and maybe M61WLLLL group buy (the low output can roll with 2aa as well as 3cr123 or two 18500.) MAYBE slap a M31WLL or 219b in the MD3 or 1.5 instead of the lowest output m61 Hi lo rings for sure.
All of that spans outputs and battery choices and really plays into the Malkoff lego thing.
Number 5 would be a McGizmo sapphire or peak eiger so I can have a light when I shouldn't need one.

Lumintop Tool (AAA, too handy)
Convoy T3 (14500 but can run AA, versatile and compact)
Sofirn SP40 (18650 but most importantly headlamp, nuff said)
Convoy S3 (18650, very warm white 719A with boost driver, easily my most efficient li-ion light)
Convoy S21A MAO (21700 with a nice CRI cool white emitter)

That covers all battery sizes and use cases. The LEDs are a secondary factor.

Surefire G3 with Malkoff M61LL
Malkoff MD3 M91T
Streamlight Protac HL5-X
HDS Rotary EDC Tactical (325 lumen)
Nebo Lil Larry

The above are my most used lights and cover all of my needs.

Man thats a tough one. I guess this year i could reduce it down to these 5:

HDS Clicky XP-L 6200K (Nice, programmable cool white light)

HDS Clicky XP-L 3900K (Nice programmable warm white light)

Surefire C3 w/ Malkoff M91B (Versatile, can run on 2x17500, CR123, or 2AA in an emergency, just a bright, single mode wall of light)

Petzl Actik Core 600Lumen (Nice wide beam rechargeable headlamp. Lightweight and very comfortable on the head.)

Surefire T1A Titan (Nice variable output. The sample i have is pretty white, no purple or green tint)

For now,

- Zebralight SC65c 719a 4000k
- Zebralight SC64c LE 519a 5700k DD
- Zebralight SC64w HI 4500k
- Peak SS Eiger 519a 5000k
- Emisar D3AA 519a 5700k DD

I've found that Zebralights are the best for me in the features, size, runtimes, brightness levels, and UI that I can find in all the lights I've tried over the years. Emisar anduril 2 with aux LEDs is also pretty damn slick

Old Cooley 26650 with PFlexpro drop-in (big and heavy, but a keeper)
Noctigon DM11 (throws farthest of all my lights)
HDS Rotary CR123 SDR50
Malkoff MD21700 Nachia 219B V3
Malkoff 18650 to E-Series with VME on Rifle

Carry On!
Yikes, If WML counts I can't have any others…. I'm going to ignore that for now lol.

Easy, I've never really owned more than a few user flashlights at a time. Right now it'd be:

-Olight keychain freebie
-HDS Rotary
-Streamlight Strion DS
-Streamlight Stinger 2020
-Fifth...dunno. Either my old Surefire U2 or an Ultrastinger LED for long distance

Currently would be:

Prometheus Ti Beta (519A 4k)
Dawson Machine Craft Aluminum Diamond Slim (H17Fx Driver, 519A 4500k DD)
Surefire E1E Outdoorsmen(H17Fx Driver, Samsung LH351D, 4k KE1 Head)
Prometheus Ti Delta (519A 4k)
Cloud Defensive MCH Duty

The Diamond Slim might be swapped out for a modded Ti Focus Works F2 once it arrives, maybe.
