Primary purpose at work what's needed is initial point-in-subject(s)-face-and-blind-them.
Secondary purpose.. well it would be great to have some usable light.
It's a toss up between:
- SST-50
- MCE
- XPG
- I think a bigger hotspot is better for more then 1 person, with less precision in pointing required.
- I'm aware the type of beam makes a difference.* A 300 lumen thrower can be more blinding then a 500 lumen flood-light.
Considering but lack of specifics (unreleased; runtime, brightness) still don't know yet:
- Maelstrom MCE
- Maelstrom XPG
- Nailbender SST-50 --- Surefire C2 host
- Eagletac XPGs
All help and advice will be graciously accepted. Thanks! lovecpf
*Note: I had an E2DL, tried a Quark Turbo. With my coworkers as test subjects:
QT (230 lumen) > E2DL (200 lumen)
Brighter light > Focused thrower w/ TIR optic
