Order separate L1 heads?

Does anybody know if it is possible to only order an L1 head without the light?

I asked Dan at TW, he said SF doesn't sell them without the body. I just traded someone on CPF.

I recently made the same inquiry with Dan, with the same response. I was considering purchasing an L1 if I could swap the LED colors (red or white).

It seems SF designed the L1 with the idea of changing heads in mind, since the electronics are all in the body and the heads are relatively dumb and cheap.

i recall the bezel of the L1 i had a while back could not be unscrewed...are they secured with loctite or something?
