Im so exited about this light, its 10 years or more since i had an incan, actually my first flash light, it was a little 60 lumen surefire, that my firends and me were so impressed with.
The light is from oveready is with fm1909 and 3x 18650, im wondering how it is compared to both jetbeam rrt-3 and olight sr90 as ive been thinking about getting 1 of them. The olight sr90 just seems too bulky. I know runtime cant be compared but i was thinking about putting in a softstart multilevel switch to make it just alittle usefull. Probaly seems little poinless this post but im just so exited about this light on the way to me, my first really hight output light. Highest currently light i have is arc mania sf-III wich is kinda a disappointment output wise, sales thread said in the 1000 lumen range and bigchelis tested it to 400somthing. Now the waiting :green:

nice...
i was on their site the other day and they had one left.
wish i coulda bought it, is that the one you got?
anyways, congrats, it sounds like a great light and be sure to post some beamshots of that baby soon. (i'll be keeping an eye on you) lol.

Yes that must have been the one, very smart trick to release 2 at a time so suckers like me cant resist when they see 1 left in stock, anyway yes ill take some beamshots for sure :)

Got my megallenium 1909 yersteday, wow this thing is amazing. It's incredible how clearly everything can be seen with the warm Incan color, but I have a question, Is the extreme oval/bat like beamprofile normal, or is there a way to correct/minimize it, my 1909 bulp is pressed as deep in the holder as possible.

I will post some beamshots within a few days comparing it to my sf-III and zebralight though it will be an unfair comparison

The 1909 can give an oval hotspot depending on your reflector. I am using an FM 2" Deep on a Mag and it gives a nice round spot. Earlier experiments with a 2" MOP were more oval shaped.

There are few LEDs that will rival the 1909 .

My second generation Megalennium is awesome and the 1909 has fairly good throw and spill in a KT4 head. The only real downside is the short runtime on IMR18650s. The output is really quite amazing and it makes the Surefire M6 look quite mellow in comparison.

Here, is atleast 1 beamshot, sorry have been so busy.

wow. that's bright! but yeah, it's oval shaped. Perhaps you should contact Dan at oveready and ask for his opinion. They sell top quality stuff and they back it up without hesitation.
