Other Sources for Forward Clicky Switches?

Is there anywhere other than KD to get the 5 pack of forward clicky switches they sell (S005339)?

I waited a month to get some to replace a fried Solarforce tailcap switch, only to find that every one of the switches they sent have the solder leads clipped. I have sent a couple of emails and the picture below to them over the last week with no response.

Thanks for the links, I got an email from KD this morning. They said that solder leads are too long for tail caps and I should solder wires onto the switch.
I sent them the picture in the original post to show how closely the leads had been cut to the switches. Any ideas for contacting someone who matters at KD?

This was only my second order from them and its looking like it will be my last!

well they are cut short, but strill enough to solder, just do it carefully, flux the contact, wire, and just touch with soldering iron (with solder on it), it should catch quick, before you melt the switch.
i ordered from kd only once, never again, same for bestofferbuy, both shipped wrong items\missed items.

Its the principle to me, I should have received switches with leads like they show on the website. These have been cut very short with wire cutters and may not even be new. Wonder if PP can back-out a payment to an international seller?

AFAIK the only source is KD
Yes it can be soldered as is...have done it several times....

If you want to mod the Solarforce reverse clickie that requires the use of the legs, then you are busted.

Else the best source is the Solarforce S6 tailcap.....

Yes, I want to replace a fried switch in a stock SF L2M tailcap. If I like the forward clicky, I'll then replace several others. Plan to use old4570's tutorial here

That is why I mentioned the need of the siwtch "legs" for this mod...

Best of Luck....who knows when KD will get and sell the old kind....

After my reply to KD's first response, they have agreed to send replacement switches.
Not sure how long it will take however as the first switches took a month to get to me, or if they will be good or not though. PM sent as I'm interested in all options at this point.
