Hello,
Im a new member  and im making my way through the massive learning curve associated with the hobby. I have a Fenix P2D and i was messing around with it, and was able to take apart the head rather easily.

Anyone else do this?

Just got pictures up:

:welcome:

The first pic is a bit too bright and the second one was a bit too dark, but they have the main details and are pretty good at showing the LED in the light.

Good job nonetheless.

I need to attempt this when R2 (or better) bins are available fairly readily.. The P2D CE (P4) I have is now a bit of a secondary light, so if things went badly it wouldn't be an immediate loss.

Well there seemed to be some threadlock compound in the threads (it was blue). I did drop it from chest high onto concrete which dented in part of the bezel. This could have broken it free...
