Well... depends on your definition of "flashlight".
I put a video on youtube with just a p7 on a heatsink... it can illuminate a room on its own. But its not really usable for room illumination because of the glare of the dies themselfs... you would need some kind of diffuser, or everybody who looks into it will see spots...
