Hey guys. I was wondering if someone could help me with how to properly wire up DX Sku #12721 (SSC P7 C-Bin LED Emitter with 21mm Heat Sink Base) and DX sku #20330 (Regulated CV/CC LED Driver Circuit Board)
Here is what I am working on. My light enclosure has wires that run back to the battery. 6v 8A gell cell. with an inline on/off switch and a rheostat (not sure if I will be able to incorporate that).
I have a copper heatsink that I modded to fit inside my enclosure and it should keep the heat moved well. I want to mount the emitter direct to the copper heatsink using thermal compound that I use on my CPU, but I need to know if the base of that emitter is part of the circuit or not, and how to wire my battery leads and driver wires.
Please bear with me here. I have been searching the forum for about 3 days now trying to figure this stuff out, I am a total greenhorn at light building, but I want to jump in feet first and learn by doing, so I ordered the driver and emitter and started to fashion my system.
