I think I know the answer, When two of the dies on the p7 look like black spots, that means they are burning out are or are burnt out. right?

Yep. You should also have half the light as before.

Can you post a pic? I've beaten a P7 pretty bad, before the judge made me took a thermal management course, and I learned to get my hot temper under control. But even after really laying the Kalvin's to one, I've not ever seen a P7 die turn black and decay.

too much heat can cause the phosphor to degrade/burn.
