It depends on how you treat your lamp assembly. I have several LA's that keep up the brightness pretty well. On a longterm the glass envelope starts to get a bit more cloudy and with this looses some of its punch.

Let me take a picture of a fully working N62 - well sort of working. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

oh.... how to take care? if the lamp gets too hot(like puting a torch facing down while its on), will it dim down the brightness?

I use 3 sanyo cr123 (brand new) on the p91 to burn in the blub. I leave it on lying flat and after after 10 mins the light was off by itelf. the entire 9p is so hot that i can't hold it for more than 5 secs! I let it cool down for about 20mins and then on again and this time the beam is slightly yellowish...

oh my... even with new batteries? my P91 died without any reason. I find it very weird indeed
