Petzl Tikka Mod with brighter 5mm LEDs

I have a Petzl Tikka which i want to mod with brighter LEDs.

This Headlamp is powerd by 3xAAA 1.2V (=3.6V) rechargeable batteries or 3xAAA 1.5V (=4.5V) batteries.
It uses three unknown 5mm LEDs. I want to upgrade this Headlamp with 3x Nichia NSPW500GS-K1 5mm LEDS.

Has this done anyone before?
Can i just replace the LEDs or do i have to replace the resistor too?

Ok, guess nobody did this before.
Anybody knows something about the circuit in the Petzl Tikka? Which resistor (ohm) is used?

Ok, did this Mod, works fine:
1x Petzl Tikka
1x 15 ohm resistor
3x NSPW500GS-K1, 44.000mcd
costs: about 4 EUR / 5 USD

@Changchung: yes, its brighter!!! I thought of buying a new headlamp, but now i only spend 3 EUR and i had the brightes headlamp at the campside.
