Pimp my Strion

Ok, what can be done to a Strion. I am becoming a Flashaholic, but I guess I have made the fist step towards recovery, I have admited my problem. Anyway, is there any light, or battery mod that can be done to the light?

I don't know of any mods to the strion to make it brighter. I got kind of tired of the artifacts in the beam though, so I put a peice of scotch tape over the front. It kills the throw but really smoths out the beam..

unfortunately Strions are not stable platforms for modding...at least what I have been told...

I've been looking to get some glass etching compound and etch the bulb in mine to try and smooth it out some.

While I might consider etching the bulb (depending on the quality of the beam) I'm not sure there's much I'd want to do to a light that is small, has a pretty high output, inexpensive replacement lamps, and is rechargeable in 2 hours!

Of course I bought one last week that arrives today so I suppose I am still hoping I didn't just buy an obsolete light! :sweat:
