Pitch black canal path work - solution needed

Hello everyone.

I've been looking for some time to upgrading from my crap cateye EL530's (I have two and they're not crash proof) and was thinking of the Joystick Maxx.

I've got a budget (inc postage) of about £130.

Does anyone have an alternative suggestion for general night commuting + pretty muddy trail work along a canal path or have I nailed the right option?

Thanks in advance for anyone who has time/ideas.

But yeah I used to ride with two 530s and they really didn't cut it. They were crash proof though!
