GOOD NEW/BAD NEWS
I had to delay my Thanksgiving trip due to a sick child. This kept me in town an extra day. That's the...bad /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

The PK1 is "out for delivery" on the Fedex truck right now!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Stop being here: go get your PK1! We want beamshots! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Catdaddy,

Be sure to read the owners manual in all four languages prior to using the light! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

- Don

PS. If the owners manual didn't ship with the light, you might just want to wait until you get it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Beamshots!!! We want beamshots!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Happy "Overcooked Dry Dead Bird Meat Day" in any case. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No beam shots YET. It just got dark around here and so far I will say:

When I opened the box: Wow Sasha is a "packin" little babe! No chance this flashlight could get damaged in this 12X14X14 box!

This flashlight itself is so well made. for some reason the body seems smoother and more refined than the standard M6 body.

The in-broad-daylight lumen check was not that impressive.
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif I do this everytime and always get disappointed.

Finally it is dark! I will do more comparisions but I can say with confidence that this is the LONGEST THROWING LED on the planet! I didn't know it could get this WHITE either.
150+yds illumination is no problem at all.

More to come...

As I reported in the auction thread, my husband said the PK1 out throws the spotlight on their cruisers. This sucker can THROW!! And yes, it is VERY white... very impressive. We had fun lighting up the coyotes in the wash behind the house... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

John... did you notice the three distinct beam "rings"? (I apologize for not using the proper terminology) ... that was one thing that struck me as amazing. The "rings" are so sharp and crisp... the white so clean.

BTW.. thank PK for the packaging... that's the box the light came to me in... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Catdaddy, please, please a beam shot of something outside and not an interior white wall beam shot. In fact, if you could, a beam shot with the Photon King I and some other well known light to compare it to.

No pressure at all. Enjoy your overcooked dry dead bird meat, smashed potatoes, pie made from large squished fruit that's been on the ground, and whatever else; and take those beamshots of the PK1 at your own convenience. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
