PL24

I have searched the forum but have been unsuccessful. Anyone know where to get a good review of the PL24? Where to get it for the cheapest price. How is the integrity of the beam?

Ive had one for about a year. The beam is 6000K (whitish bluish) and had rings in the beam. I think the Ae Powerlight would be a good HID light to get but if you want something that will absolutley scorch then it may not be the best choice.

I remember one time when I had my AE I once tail-standed it, and it accidentally fell over. When it fell over it shut off. If I had to take a guess that was due to the battery disconnecting from the ballast, or the ballast just isn't cappable of taking impacts. The AE turned back on after I turned it back on and it worked.

I think this is worth considering as if you are ouside and you drop the AE, you may be fumbling in the dark to find it.
