Please help me choose best led flashlight ~100$ on 16850

Hallo!
Few months ago I was looking for flashlight and i found Fenix TK11 R2 I really liked it, but now Im ready to buy flashlight... I get little confused when I saw TK12 is out... I Like it has more mods ( I Love it have Strobe ), but it have old Q5 (NOT r2) and have textured reflector + 16$ for 18650 tube... That sounds bad... ( I Think smooth reflector is better, but someone can explain me whats difference between smooth and textured? I Have read a lot but still dont know )
I need best thrower... (Sometimes I will mount it on gun for hunting) But sometimes i will use it in-doors...

Im still thinking which is brighter. I Found tk12 review http://www.light-reviews.com/fenix_tk12/ it says on 225 Lumen we get 247 Lumens. That mean tk12 is brighter?

I Know here are a lot similar thread, but i still can`t choose... Please help me

BTW Maybe there are another good flashlight ~100$ on 1 x 18650?

tk11 r2 would be better thrower than tk12?

The difference between a Cree XR-E Q5 and Cree XR-E R2 isn't that big. You might see a difference if you compared a bottom bin Q5 (barely a Q5 bin) with a top bin R2 (almost R3 bin), but anywhere else you won't see a difference.
A textured reflector gives a smoother beam at the expense of some throw.
How far do you need the light to throw?

As for 18650 light suggestions, Look at Dereelight, Jetbeam's Jet-III, Eagletac's T10L and T20C2, iTP C6T, and there are a few more.

I agree with Gunner12, I personally have a Eagletac T20C2 and iTP C6T and both are great lights. I sometimes run RCR123's in my T20C2 because the Cytacs fit in the supplied battery magazine, the runtime isn't near as good as the 18650, but its still nice to be able to run up to 8.4V. The reason I use the RCR123's is that it doesn't take near as long near as long to charge them :welcome:

I was thinking about T20C2. I like that flashlight, but it`s little bit bigger (Importat, because usually I Will take it with me in pocket), more expensive (Than TK11 R2, but its OK), I was reading it has problems with strobe mode, and 300 Lumens are overrated, it actually have approx. 250lm... Thats, what i read in reviews...

I Would take tk11 r2 immediately , but it don`t have strobe...

Now I have dilema-
TK11 r2 with HI and MED modes.
Or
TK12 with stroble and low mode, what I like, but I don`t like it don`t have SMO reflector, because throw Is really importat to me + not R2, but Q5...
Or
JetBeam Jet III M R2 it have SMO Reflector + stroble...

Which is better in throw on max TK11 R2(240LM) or Jet III M R2(225LM) or Fenix Tk12?

I have the Jet III-M R2 version and it throws well for its size ... i actually prefer it to the Fenix Tk10 that i previously had (now sold) plus it takes an 18650 ... very nice light ...
