POLL: How many lights do you own?

My conscience is pricking. I think I'm buying too many too quickly. Just to make me feel better (or worse), would like to take a poll to find out the number of lights (on average) you own?
Also to see amount of lights we have, well, maybe among those who participated.

For actual flashlights I am in the 11-20 range. I really only use my higher end/semi custom lights on a day to day basis. The other lights are just emergeny lights scattered around my home.

Same with me. So, I'm in the 11-20 range as well. However, it is worth pointing out that I am in HS, with limited income. So, I am a conservative light buyer, on the lower end of ownership after one year.

11-20. I bought a bunch of lights when I just joined CPF. But now I'm caught up on all of the lights that are readily available that I want. I'm just waiting for new releases and custom lights at this point.

Including all the ancient incands. from pre-CPF days, lanterns, booklights, yard lights, silly lights, etc. my total is probably somewhere in that 61-80 range. Maybe I'll find some time to do an actual count, though I'm not sure I really want to know.

:thumbsup:Very interesting. 4 lights.....I am such a baby flashaholic.
Since funds are low I try to justify my purchases. AA for EDC and emergencies, 18650 lights to satisfy my need to turn a light on and off a bigger/brighter light.
New York is too bright for me to get good outdoor use of my lights.:shakehead

Just did an actual head count and was astounded (or maybe dismayed). The real total is somewhere around 120. Duplicate lights (Accent Lanterns, Energizer Folding Lanterns, Fauxtons, 2AAA RiverRocks) account for maybe 15-20, and I had more oldies than I thought (~35), but the rest are singletons. Many are in the <$10 class. Just a handful cost >$50.

Still, this is just sick. :twothumbs

My situation exactly - I'm at about 25 right now.

Went on a buying rampage for the first 7 months and have since sold a significant amount of what I don't need.

Now just pretty much waiting for the new Surefires (if they ever come...).

I counted 17 + 1 in the mail. I haven't included the rabble like Mag clones, cheap plastic incans and fauxtons.

I've never had the urge to do a complete census. I checked the 21-40 block after a quick mental review of MagLites, SureFires and Inovas. MagLites count for 16 of the total, SureFires 7 and Inovas 4.

Hmm, then there are the 3 Fenix, 2 StreamLights, 4 or 5 lanterns, 3 or 4 Princeton Tecs, 4 Peaks and maybe a few others. Oh, and headlamps also.

But, I want more. I need 4 more Mags, 3 more SureFires, 2 more Inovas, 1 or 2 more Pelicans (oops forgot to count Pelican above), a RA Twisty and a Heliotec. After that, my collection will be complete and I will stop buying lights (maybe).

P.S. I forgot to add 2 Eveready, 1 Rayovac and 1 Fulton angle head.

P.P.S. I forgot 3 Gerber IUs.

Just added my 101 plus vote, not including fauxtons and such, many are decades old and many are new.

I voted in the 101+ range, but I actually have just over 200 I believe. That number will not be going down, only up. Many of them are just your average garden variety cheap incans that I've picked up over the years. My collection is mostly American made flashlights. I really need to make a spread sheet to keep track of the different brands, what types of batteries used, price paid (ouch!),etc.

I only voted for my personal flashlights and not all the ones in my house, also didnt include all the ones ive lost. So that makes the 21-40 mark!
