Well, this is a Solarforce forward clickie mod ala Surefire Z49 style, and a tailstanding too!
First we start with a Solarforce lockout tailcap. Regular SLF ones are non-ano inside but with good luck the SLF tape switch tailcap retains its anodizing
But...
The thing has a larger bootie hole! (16mm instead of the standard 14mm opening) Thankfully I had some 20mm tailcaps form Kaidomain (non available since they remade their site) so all is well....
Then I proceeded to make and install a forward switch as seen in my Various Flashlights FORWARD Clickie Mods thread
HELP needed!
Has anyone tried the SLF SL-S3 winged style forward switch? What about bootie size and regular tailcap body adaptability?
Next step was to add the rubber and taistanding switch hood! I rushed to two hardware stores and bought cane/chair leg rubber booties/end caps....
There is a better, more stylish kind but not available locally.
I proceeded to cut one to proper length and mated to a Surefire combat ring. Presto!
(Actually the flashlight wears a non lockout SLF forward clickie)
Now I love my Solarforce Mini More!
