Will the new Predator Pro V3 have an instant access strobe? The new brochure says it does but the specifications on the company website says it does not. Which one is correct ?

Got an email from Armytek yesterday, it was in relation to the Viking, not the predator, but I'd imagine they're the same.

The pro will have the twist head system, twisted tight for full power, twisted loose for cycling through low power modes.

is there any information regarding the method that will be used to cycle through the different modes on the v3? will we still be able to select full power without powering the light on? or will we have to use the tail button to cycle through the modes and make sure we switch it off on full power if we want full power next time we power on?

Flashlights` manuals will appear with its official release. :)

Yes, it will have an instant access strobe.

Will it also have instant (and guaranteed) access to the lowest output? (by guaranteed I mean not relying on a memory function but instead being the first mode it always comes on with the head loose)

I'm guessing not if it already has instant access to high (tightened head) and instant access to strobe (a memory mode in the head loose modes?) but without having the programmable driver the v2.5 Predator has.

With the head loose on the second line the last saved mode will turn on. So if the flashlight was turned off, for example, in strobe, so you will not get a quick access to Firefly. So if you want to have a Firefly while head loose, leave Firefly last saved.

What's the difference between regular and pro versions ?

The Pro's have FULL regulation, whereas the regular ones use either STEPPED or SEMI regulation.
FULL gives you 100% output until the battery is dead. (100% lumens for entire runtime, but shorter runtime at "max" setting)
STEP and SEMI have diminished output as the battery depletes to give you longer runtimes, and as an indicator that the battery is running out. (Diminishing lumens as battery depletes, but longer overall runtime on "max" setting)

My understanding is they've REstocked. They started offering them several weeks ago, then ran out.

Meanwhile, Armytek stated that the lights and the literature were not ready and still has not released the specs. Go figure.

Armytek,

When will you update Predator v3's mode operation at your website.
And where can I find a manual? I purchased Predator v3 but there is no manual.

Also my Predator v3 is just describe "Predator Black/ XB-H v.3", is it just non-Pro Predator?
Depends on your catalog for new Predator, Viking and Doberman(http://www.armytek.com/data/ads/EN/flyers/2015/pdf/flyer_1_(tactical_lights)_usa.pdf), Predator v3 Pro has Strobe mode. But on your website said both Pro and non-Pro has Strobe mode.

What is exact information?

Do they really have them? What better way to lock up your customer. Take the order before anybody has any and then ".........oh we are sorry there was such a demand we ran out of stock just as we were about to ship yours out. But don't worry yours is the first to go out as soon as we get more in...." Going Gear, one of the big honest and reputable dealers out there is not promising any yet. I wonder why? There is a site in Holland
http://eu.nkon.nl/flashlights/armytek/armytek-predator-pro-xb-h-neutral-white.html . A few days ago they were available now they are out of stock They even provide a download for the manual (for the now discontinued predator pro v 2.5; you would think they know the difference). They even have 2 customer reviews (dated January ? 2015) for the v2.5 attached to this newer light. If the light was available there would have been a review and/or pictures posted somewhere by now.

Friends, thank you for your questions, but we can`t tell you exactly about the date of manuals` appearance. As we mentioned in other threads - now all information operations are being prepared. We are making measurements for exact manuals. After that our technical specialist will post it on the official website. I will inform you here. Also you can follow our updates on social networks.
Thank you for your expectation and understanding.

Yes, dealers can sell flashlights without manuals.

Some dealers still have quite a bit of the old lights on hand. They'll likely have a harder time selling them if they start offering the new models, unless they discount them. Going gear does not appear to be doing that for the time being. don't know anything about the Dutch site, but A-A appears to be a reputable dealer. If you're insinuating they're misleading their customers, someone might ask you to backup your statement.

Going gear might be testing the waters, to see how much demand there is.

Manuals will be a bit later. Thank you for understanding.

Both Pro and non-Pro Predators have Strobe. Contact your dealer to clarify what version have you bought.
