Problem charging my RCR123 batteries

I have 2 newly acquired TrustFire batteries (16340, 880 mAh, 3.6 V Li-ion) and I notice that they are slightly longer than my Solarforce rechargeables.

I had a hard fitting them into the RCR123 charger that I have (the Solarforce ones are fine). So I almost had to force them into place. After seemingly finishing charging, the batteries power my light for less than 1 minute and then all the power seems to have been used up.

Could someone please tell me how to address this problem?

Well I recharged it a second time. This time the batteries seem to be doing fine. Maybe it was a little too tight-fitting.

Cheap protected RCR123 cells are longer than standard CR123's. That's why they fit tighter.
