Q III Help

I have a QIII and I think the tail swicht is not working? I am wondering if anyone can tell me where I can get a switch???

EDIT:
The part number 529PB-ND should work. In fact, I think you can use it to make a two stage mod.

It's possible that I may have a spare QIII tailcap and switch at home. I'll have a look tonight and let you know.

Check to see that the plastic ring hasn't come loose.

Check to see that the switch module is contacting the bare aluminum in the switch housing. That's what killed mine till I found it. Does the switch go "CLICK"? If not then it's time to switch out the switch. If it does then it's likely a contact issue. Mine was intermittent based on temperature. The cooler it got, the less likely the switch was to work till I bent the wire out a bit and re-installed the switch.

I would check the operation of the switch with a multimeter by testing from the spring to the threads on the inside of the tailcap. If the switch is bad and you would like a replacement send me a PM.
