Quark: Any red filters compatible?

Hiya,
since Quark does not offer any colour filters for their lights (AFAIK, ), do you have any experience with other filters usable for Quark lights - Fenix or others.

ps: Quark RGB is not the solution I am looking for.

Haven't looked for any, but you might see if there exist any red filters for riflescopes that might fit. The LED in the Quark isn't going to have a lot of red in it to start with compared to an incandescent, so you'll probably get a bigger drop in output than you expect when you add such a filter to the light.

Some have made the fenix red filter fit the quark by enlarging it with sandpaper. As said, the red filter will cut the output by a fair amount - although given the purpose of a red filter this isn't necessarily a bad thing.
