I bought a spare charger (that came with a cord for use in a car) on Ebay for my Panasonic lithium camera battery. The original charger and the battery both have three contacts. A plus, a minus and a middle contact marked "T."
The new charger however, only has 2 contacts (+ and -).
My questions are:
1) Is it safe and OK for the battery to use this charger?
2) What is the purpose of the middle contact?
