RCR123 Window of opportunity?

Is there an ideal 'window of opportunity' for RCR123 batteries to accept a recharge?
... best to recharge them right out of my light ,or wait until they completely cool? I know it may not be a factor but I didn't want to damage my batteries by putting them right back into the charger warm.

Definately wait for them to cool. Charging a hot cell will make it hotter and possibly cause it to explode.
