Hey guys, I recently purchased some Duracell AA precharged rechargeables and I just found out from Duracell that they were manufactured in November of 2007. Are they okay even though they've been sitting on the store shelf for over a year? I never opened the package....should I return them and look for newer cells? Thanks.

i would buy a charger for those batteries
j/k you must be much further down the path of flashoholism than
me. :nana:

I've bought eneloops with a November 2006 born-on date and used them
to my total satisfaction. Your duraloops should be good enough to use
right away... so... get to illuminating!

I bought some Eneloops earlier this year that were made in June 2006 and they are working great.

If the Duracell Pre-charged batteries you bought have white material around the postive tip, they are rebadged Eneloops - a November 2007 "birth date" is fine.

Thanks. Now I can play with my new MH-C800S charger.:D
