Hey guys. I'm going to be buying my first "real" light, but am a little overwhelmed with all the choices. I'm looking to stay in the 60.000 and under range. It will mostly be used for general daily uses, nothing job specific. I'd obviously like something that is easy and comfortably to carry. So far I've been looking at the Nitecore EX10, and EZ123, as well as the Liteflux aaa model. I really like the size of the EZ123, but I also like the push button of the EX10. I'm not totally opposed to the twist head, but just think that the push button seems more convient. Any recommendation?

Welcome to CPF, mdsmith.

You've mentioned LED Flashlights, so I'll move your thread into that specific section for you.

Hi and :welcome:

it would be REALLY helpful if you could fill in this checklist and either edit your post #1 and paste your answers there or paste your answers in a new reply to this thread.

I personally EDC an EX10 (ramping version) and i love the light, incredible versatility and very tough too, i carry it along with a few spare RCR123s and am all set.

i think push button (clicky) is more convinient to use than twisty. its quicker and can be used with one hand. (most twisty lights do require you to use two)

if you do look for the twisty light like ez123 look also the 47s mini 123 or mini aa. (i prefer myself the AA format due easy accessible battery in every store and also the slightly longer body feels a bit more natural sized for my hand and grip. the cr123 bodies lights are a bit too short for me to hold and use with ease. i do have few but i still mostly carry AA lights on me.

today i had on me: 47s quark AA, 47s mini AA and nitecore d10 (AA)
