hey guys, i have an power supply project and i faced some problems in rectification, i am supposed to obtain (30-33V) but it's 47V !!!!
i am using a transformer(230V/32V) diode bridge(3A); electroclytic capacitor 3300uF(50V) and a resistor 2.2K. the output DC voltage is 47V!!
so please can you help me choose components to obtain 30V DC.

Wondering if your input is really 230V? If input is higher,I think the out put from transformer will be higher too.

If the output of the transformer is 32 V RMS AC then the rectified filtered DC would be about 45 volts (RMS * 1.414).
