Hey everyone,
I've been lurking here for a few weeks but I finally have a question to ask. So, A friend gave me a Gerber rx-350 with a burned out bulb (he tried using an rcr123). Now, before I go and get a normal incandescent bulb, I was wondering if there was such a thing as a very small LED in a 5mm type housing that could put out decent lumens. Obviously nothing too high, there would be little if any heatsinking involved, plus there would be no room for a driver. So I guess my question is, is there anything LED bulb that stands up on legs (so I can stick it through the two little holes like on a mini-mag) and puts out at least 30 lumens? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, it seems unlikely that such a thing exists but it's worth a try.
