A while back, I heard that if a battery leak, both Duracell and Energizer will take the entire product (battery and it's in) and will give you a replacement or a refund of what you have.
In my case, I left some Duracell AAA in a Luxeon LED headlamp and the battery leaked. The Duracell expires in March 2012 so there is still a lot of time and the headlamp is rarely used.
Has anyone experience returning a product to Duracell and do they give you the refund or send you another similar product?
