Suzanne Pleshette, best known for her role as Bob Newhart's wift in The Bob Newhart Show, has passed away.

Dang. One more piece of my youth gone.

No, she wasn't in the second Newhart show, alghough she did appear in a cameo at the end of the final episode. It was considered to be one of the cleverest finales for a series, even to this day.

She was a beautiful woman. I will miss her.

That movie and also "The Ugly Dacshound" from Disney come to mind.

The end to the second Bob Newhart show was hilarious! Those shows forged a new path for sitcoms that many of the more modern sitcoms still borrow from.
May she rest in peace.

She was a great actress. I enjoyed her the most on that show. Another that I miss is Eve Arden from Our Miss Brooks in the early to mid-fifties.
