Imagine a glare and shadow free soft lit room by OLED's covering the ceiling and with proper design could be used for ambient heating too.

Organic LEDs have been around for a few years, theres even some prototype tv's that are as thin as paper made out of them.
Not for retail though...

The patterns on those screens - are they non-working cells? (Is that the right terminology.) I think a glowing ceiling would be awesome.
