Romisen RC-G2 Battery Issue

Hey guys,

I bought 2 of these and am quite please with them.

I have found that the light works well with a standard off the shelf non-rechargeable battery.

However, when I insert a rechargeable battery, the light dims, flickers, goes off and may come back on again. Is this a problem with the type of batteries?

Which should I use?

That sounds strange.. they should work just fine with rechargeable batteries (excluding the lithium ones). Maybe there's some kind of contact problem somewhere, or the rechargeable is gone bad?

That doesn't sound right.

If anything, the light should work more consistently with a rechargeable (NiMh) cell.

Did you check the battery with a digital multitester?

are you sure its charged to full capacity?
I always choose NiMH over alkalines. One alkaline leak and your light is gone.

I have never had this issue with mine.
I have have had flickering though due to the switch and so have others.
