Well, I've already seen it, and it is very cool. (Check out my sigline and avatar.) I'd love to see it again, because PK never let anyone actually play wit... er, TEST, I meant TEST the light back then.

Considering I'll be flying in, I won't be able to have much even if I can make it, but it would be fun, anyway.

So is this thing going to happen? If so, when & where?

I may have two more to add dates for the get together would be the biggest issue us light heads up here in the Tri-city area of Michigan would have on making it. Let me know and I will try to keep an eye on the thread.

Ok so Ann Arbor, Brighton in Michigan. And Lima, Marblehead, and Toledo from Ohio. Throw in a couple other unknown locations and we are looking at a central location down close to Toledo. I know of a state park east of Toledo on Lake Erie that has areas supposedly open after dark (not the beach).

Anyone know of anything maybe in the Monroe or Tecumseh area? Those are still pretty central.

Weekend of the 17-19th sounds pretty good since we can get two long distance commuters. Any objections?

That date sounds good to me. . Just to toss an idea out... what about a meet at Dundee Mi @ Cabela's spread. Only issue might be to many parking lot lights after dark. Might need to see if there's a park or something around there to use. I don't think they would have an issue with it. They sell Surefire lights and ect.

Friday works best for me, because of the schedule of events for the shindig I'm traveling 2,000 miles to attend. That's been 20 years in the making, and I'm giving it top priority for my time. It may turn out that I spend all my time there, so don't plan anything just because of me.

What about Indian Lake? Not exactly central, but it's far enough out in the boonies to be dark out there. If someone rents a campsite, we'll definitely have overnight privileges. I'm not sure of the visitation rules, either, but it's a thought.

I'm from the Columbus area. If the meet-up happens this weekend I can't make it since I have about 6 things piled on my calendar already.

If things fall though and this ends up happening at a later date I'll probably attend.
