Seeking advice for problem with my new JETbeam Jet -II MK. 3

First post and I am looking for advice. Today I received my first 'serious' flashlight, a Jetbeam JET-II MK.3. I love the light but the problem is that when I turn it on, after about 4 seconds, the light goes from 100% to dim (without me pressing the end cap, etc.). It seems to work in sequence normally (strobe, variety of intensity, etc., but just won't stay at 100% for longer than 4 or 5 seconds). Thinking it might be the battery, I replaced four different ones and still the same issue. Is this user error and I have the light in some funky mode that goes from 100% to dim on it's own? Any advice?

I just got my mine today and I'm having the EXACT same problem...

Am I missing something or is this light not functioning properly?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
