I am just about ready to start my undercounter lighting project and just got some Seoul P4s with some neat little 20mm stippled reflectors to go with it (for now). These are the complete star.....should I just solder on the + and - pads? Or do I need to figure out what tab is pos and neg?

Also, when I glue these things down to my aluminum strip, do I need to make sure the metal backing of the star does not touch the base of my lighting fixture? I can't find anything written that it is isolated from the rest of the star.

It also looks like the reflector does not touch any of the electrical leads of the emitter, so just a dab of epoxy to keep the reflector in place is all I need to do here to?

Thanks for anyones advice!!

If it is a good star star, the + should be the + and the - should be the -. You could test with 2 AA batteries(or any 3v DC source) to make sure. The star itself should be neutral and not affect the wiring.
