I got an aspherical lens, but im not quite sure how to get it mounted at the correct distance, it needs to be a little less than a centimeter or so above the top of the bezel. if i rest the lens in the inner part of the low profile defense bezel/crown (as low in it as it can go) its just a hair to far forward, but if no other way, would work decently enough.

i was just curious to find out if anyone knows how to get it to sit right or what i could do to get the lens to stick to the inner sides of the defense crown without using any glue?

I purchased from DX and KD the aspherical lens in the following sizes...

25mm
24mm
23mm
22mm

The aspherics from KD or DX are so inconsistant that within the same bathc of 10 you might have one or two focus; while the rest will not. I didn't try the MG UCL coated version because they are expensive. Just purchase a couple 24mm and 25mm and you might get lucky and find one that fits perfectly and focuses nicely.

Good luck,

I got the 28mm from DX meant for P60-style, ie compatible with L2. It fits BUT the gap isn't far enough to focus the beam. So, I mounted it on top of the crenelated bezel (not the flat stainless steel version), the "teeth" helps to hold it and hold it further. However, it's still not far enough. So, I got to twist the bezel further out to focus the LED projection.
